Go For Sam was started by a group of us who loved Sam beyond words. After losing someone who meant the world to us, we wanted to build something special to keep Sam's spirit alive and celebrate the incredible impact Sam had on all our lives. Go For Sam was born out of love, shared memories, and a drive to channel Sam’s nonstop energy into something positive. Simply put, Go For Sam is how we keep Sam’s memory alive, by honoring his huge heart, quick wit, and the fact that he truly never met a stranger by bringing people together to make a real difference.

Anyone who knew Sam knew that sports were a huge part of who Sam was—especially when it came to repping Kansas City. Whether cheering on local KC teams or just enjoying the energy of the game, that passion for sports was electric and contagious. That’s why we’re channeling Sam's love for the game into real action. By partnering with United Way, our goal is to give back to local youth sports in Kansas City, making sure every kid gets the chance to play, grow, and experience the joy that sports brought to Sam.
