Hank’s Fundraiser details

Come together to celebrate Sam’s life and support the Go For Sam Foundation! We’re gathering at Hank’s Garage & Grill in Downtown Shawnee from 11AM - 3PM for a day filled with food, drinks, music, and Sam’s spirit. Whether you knew Sam personally or are looking to support a meaningful local cause, all are welcome to come out, connect, and make an impact.

What you need to know:

  • Food & Drinks: A portion of food and beverage sales throughout the event will directly benefit the Go For Sam Foundation.

  • Activities & Raffle: We’ll have foundation merchandise available for purchase, along with a raffle featuring local gifts and prizes.

  • Parking: Free parking is available in the Hank’s lot, as well as along Nieman Road and nearby public lots in Downtown Shawnee.

  • All Ages Welcome: Bring friends, family, and neighbors—the patio and dining area are family-friendly.

DIRECTIONS TO HANK’s

  • From I-35 (East of Shawnee):

    • Take exit 228A for Johnson Drive.

    • Head west on Johnson Drive for about 1.5 miles into Downtown Shawnee.

    • Turn north (right) onto Nieman Road. Hank’s Garage will be immediately on your right.

  • From I-435 (West of Shawnee):

    • Take exit 6B for Johnson Drive.

    • Head east on Johnson Drive for approximately 3.5 miles.

    • Turn north (left) onto Nieman Road. Hank’s Garage will be immediately on your right.

  • From Shawnee Mission Parkway (US-56):

    • Take the exit for Nieman Road.

    • Head north on Nieman Road for about 1 mile, crossing Johnson Drive. Hank’s will be on your right.

Parking Information

  • On-Site: Parking is available in the designated lot right at the venue.

  • Overflow / Street Parking: Free street parking and public municipal lots are located within short walking distance along Nieman Road and Johnson Drive throughout Downtown Shawnee.
